- Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry medium heat. Low iron, if needed.
- How do I ensure my Ascenders always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Ascenders be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

Love Bluffworks blazers and shirts but for me there are way too many pockets and zippers on these pants. I travel domestically weekly (not to international hot spots for pickpocketing) and due to all the bulk of the zippers and pockets I generally do not grab these pants preferring the cleaner lines of other brands at a similar quality and price point. To be fair and to explain the four stars, the stretch and wrinkle free quality is there and the substantial total pocket zipper count was in the description. Got a regular fit. I normally wear 38/36 pants, but based on prior experience with Bluff ordered 38W/34L. The pants were a little long and I will need to take them to a tailor for hemming. As to the waist, I probably am a 37” waist and will need to alter the waist and back. All that said, I love the lightweight pants, the zippered pockets, the water resistance and the fact that they always look great for touring, hiking and going out in the evening.
Could you make waist sizes by the inch instead of every 2”?

I prefer zippered pockets for travel. Zippered front pocket spoiled a pickpocket in Madrid Spain. These pants can be warn dressed up and dressed down. Avoiding khaki or bright colors is a move to consider when outside the USA. Darker colors makes you less of a target and are more versatile. A minimalist could bring there as their only pants or their spare pants. Wrinkles very little. Fits well. I went with slightly shorter pant legs to avoid the full break at the shoe and to open up hiking option. Flying, urban walking, nature trail hiking are all in play with these pants.

This is my third pair of the ascender chino and I continue to be impressed. The fit is very nice, with just the right amount of stretch. I tend to have issues fitting pants due to having larger thighs, so had to go up one waist size to find the right combo of comfort and look. I still haven't discovered all the pockets hidden in these pants, but the ones I have are very helpful. The phone pocket in the back is nice because it gets your device just high enough on your hip that you can sit down without worry about sitting on the phone. Overall, highly recommended.

Very comfortable and quality workmanship. I'm new to this brand and still trying to figure out my appropriate size (I'm a 29/28). I ordered a 29/28 but it was tight and short.
I ordered a 30/30, the waist was perfect but too long. I reordered a 30/28, the inseam was only 27-1/4" while the 30/30 has a perfect 30" inseam.
I like the pant so much I'm keeping the 30/30 and send it to the tailor for inseam adjustment.
Bottom line, these is a good quality comfortable product with great customer service.
I will be using this on my travels.
